The crown may have the sparkle but motivational speaking has Mekayla's heart. From intimate settings with senior citizens to auditoriums filled with eager middle schoolers, she has spread her life story to them all.

In 2018, Mekayla joined two of her friends in writing a blog called "I'm That Wife" where they wrote about life experiences and self-discovery.

Mekayla graduated with a BA in Communications and Psychology. Upon completion of her degree, she joined the team at Froggy 102.7 WLEG where she worked as the Production Director and afternoon drive radio DJ.
Along with radio and commercial work, Mekayla has extensive experience hosting and emceeing various pageants and events. She recently hosted a large fundraiser with The Today Show's Tameron Hall. She has been hand selected to represent international brands like Lexus, Chevrolet, Ford, and Yummy by Heather Thompson.

Mekayla has been featured in various local commercials for Subway, Toyota, Cadillac, Nissan, and Chevrolet.

Her modeling career began at the age of 2 alongside her mother. Although, the runway is where she got her start, she can be seen in local fashion magazines, fashion shows, and on local boutique websites.
Look for her in international brands like Yummy by Heather Thompson, Swartley West Swimsuits, and Artistry.
Bio
Born and raised in Indiana, Mekayla started competing in pageants at the age of 12. She was a semi-finalist at Miss USA 2014 and 2nd Runner Up at Miss Indiana. In 2017 Mekayla won the title of Mrs. Indiana America and went on to win Mrs. America 2018 in Las Vegas. In between pageants she models, has been featured in movies, TV commercials, and local fashion magazines.
Mekayla now shares her love of pageantry by helping girls achieve their fullest potential by fine tuning every detail of their pageant competitions. Mekayla has worked with clients in numerous local and state titles in the Miss America Org., Miss USA Org., Mrs. America Org., and Fairs & Festivals circuits.
